woke up to knocking
mom wanted me to go sleep to sleep with them and go downstairs to go on a boat ride

was confused about free breakfast but then it was like FREE BREAKFAST YAAAYYYY
went on a walk around the city
LITTLE DID I KNOW THERE WAS A EU PARLIAMENT TOUR SO SALTYYY
but we visited a cathedral
super gothic and old
kinda getting tired of cathedrals tbh
After that, we went for a drive to two small towns; Colmar and Riquewihr
the former was super quaint and cute
it’s like preserved form the ancient times and their crepes and baked goods were sooo good
it’s right next to some grape farms too

colmar was a bit underwhelming; just a smaller straousburg tbh
got back to straousbourg and chilled for awhile
went on a boat tour
cool af
it was a clear 270 degree window
i liked the amount of history it gave about the town and what the specific buildings did
they HAD THE EU UGHHHHH SALTYY
it made me sad tho
such a beaut town had to suffer under wars upon wars
like I was imagining world war 2 during this time
apparently the nazis governing the place wouldn’t even allow them to wear berets or speak any french

soooo much meat my god
delicious
but didn’t eat much
on the way back, it was dark, shady but my cousins and I tried to sing a cappella
failed miserably but was fun :D
